Our testers were impressed by the ease of access provided by the side panel, that can be moved up and downwards with just one click of a switch. This was especially helpful at night, as they could reach in and pick their baby up without waking them up.

The side panel can be removed on its own however, it's not recommended since it increases the risk of your baby falling out of the cot. The gliding motion was found to be very beneficial in lulling babies into sleep following meals at night or midday.
