Incubatoredu

INCubatoredu provides students with the opportunity to experiment with entrepreneurship, by creating their own startup. Every class is accompanied by a coach or mentor who will guide teams of students through the course and help with initiatives related to washable shoe insoles or social apps; Students have plenty of opportunities to test out ideas while applying lean business principles.

When teams of students progress through the course students learn to improve their startup ideas by conducting the exploration of ideas and customers, market research, prototyping building and pitching. The process helps foster cooperation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills as well as teaching students to adapt quickly to change.

Each team competes to win funding during the INCubatoredu National Pitch, which occurs every year. This event provides teams with valuable networking experiences with investors as well as expert advice from business professionals This event is known for the shark tank-style pitching sessions.
