If this sensor fails the ECU will throw the P00160 error, which means the Crank Shaft and Intake Camshaft aren't in sync, possibly indicating chain stretch or a jumped link on the upper chain of timing. However the code will not appear on its own without additional information from other sensors (G4 and G40).
It is a little tricky to test because there are various pins on the connector and each one has different functions. The best method for doing this is by measuring the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. It should read approximately 1000 ohms when the sensor is operating at its maximum. If you are having problems with this part, check for evidence of coolant or Audi Replacement keys oil in the connector bay.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, when i was accelerating to the fullest speed from highway paytoll, I experienced an abrupt drop in power like the engine is out of gas or the injectors are not firing at all. In the morning, i removed the spark plugs. Three were soaked with gazoline and audi replacement key Cost uk the fourth one was dry. I put a piece of tissue over each injector hole, and when I start the engine with no sparks, the 3 with gazoline jump out. The fourth one remains shut. The car is able to start when the G28 is unplugged and it runs perfectly when it is connected but it still is experiencing intermittent misfires at higher RPM. Also i noticed that the oil pressure gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar, whereas the actual pressure is 0.0 when i rev the engine.
I'm not sure what to do, but i think i've pretty much eliminated everything else. I'm worried that i might have missed something. Let me know If you have any suggestions! TIA!
