It can be a bit difficult to test since there are different connector pins, and each one has different functions. The best way to do it is by measuring the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. It should read approximately 1000 ohms if the sensor is operating at its maximum. Check for signs of coolant or oil in the connector bay if you are experiencing problems with this part.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating from the highway paytoll at a high speed I noticed a massive decrease in power. It was like the engine was running out of gas. Or my injectors were not firing. I took out the spark plugs this morning and found that 3 were soaked in gasoline, Audi Car keys and the 4th was dry. I put tissue over each injector hole, and when i start the engine without sparks, the ones with gazoline jump out. The 4th one stays closed. I checked the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I got 0ohm. So i assume the problem is in another place.
I also tried to reset the PID with no success. The car can start when the G28 is unplugged and runs fine when it is plugged in however it has the intermittent misfire issue at higher RPM. The coolant temperature sensor (G62) shows the wrong temp value -49c, even if I unplug it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bars but the actual pressure is 0.
I don't know what to do. I think I've ruled everything else out. I'm concerned that i may have missed something. Let me know If you have any suggestions! TIA!
