The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a great option if you're on a budget and don't need a stroller that can be used as a car seat carrier. It has a flip-flop friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also easy to push and feels solid when you're navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has built a reputation as the ultimate lightweight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, thanks to its nimble maneuverability and foldable design that can be tucked away in the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It can also be converted to a stroller by 6 months using the YOYO connect other chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable second stroller for their travels. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and size folded which means it's lightweight, small single stroller when collapsed and easy to lift into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as cup holders for the parent. Other important features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

It performed better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the smallest strollers we test. They only cover the top, and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward-facing position, or they can pivot. This is useful when navigating rough terrain. On our walk along the stony path we let them move and it did this quite well, though it did appear more bumpy than the other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is known for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also have a wide assortment of strollers with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It folds easily and fits easily into the trunk of a car even with an attached carrycot.

It is heavier than the other strollers we've tested, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber, it feels sturdy and well-made. It is easy to maneuver over various terrains and even with two kids, a shopping bag and other items.

The carrycot and the seat both have hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams that can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, however it does have a big basket that's large enough to fit an infant's changing bag and plenty of groceries. It can also be used with a Baby Jogger car seat for babies up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are sold separately).
